Actor Jeff Daniels recently shot "The Lookout" here in Winnipeg. I heard he has a prior Winnipeg connection in that he was in another film with born-in-Winnipeg young Oscar-winning actress Anna Pacquin. But Jeff has another quasi-Winnipeg connection: He reprised his "Dumb and Dumber" character in the music video for a song in the movie, Winnipeg's Crash Test Dummies' "The Ballad Of Peter Pumpkinhead," if you recall. Only he did it; Jim Carrey didn't.
